Just do it ! I rushed last year as a sophomore and regretted not doing it as a freshman just because it's mostly freshman and u make soooo many friends while rushing ! If u don't want a house in the end that's 100% okay but I say it's worth the money and by spring u can have an idea of what house u may like or wait again till the fall and u would then have a leg up because u know how rush works
