Sophomore here, assyming youre a freshman, I would advise to to rush in the fall. I regret not rushing in my first year because unless you live in a super talkative dorm and get lucky, it is hard to make friends. Greek life is . a big thing here and its better to rush now and not regret it because spring is not the same. You hardly even get anything special and you miss out on gamedays and such if you dont rush in the fall. So my advice is to just pay and try it out, if it doesnt work out then try later but its worth it!
