Focus on the chapters you have! Remember, being released from a chapter does NOT mean they don't like you. It means they see you fitting in better somewhere else. Remember, women have lots of friends in other chapters (regardless of what you hear on here!) and they can get a good feel for where someone might fit best. Bear in mind, while YOU may think you completely fit and fell in love with a place but you don't get invited back, the chapter members are trained to make EVERYONE feel welcome and wanted (that's how you get a great pledge class!). That's why it can feel like a blindside if you don't get a chapter back where you felt good! Remember: it doesn't mean they didn't like meeting you! They may just be thinking "she seems more like she will fit in Chapter XYZ or ABC rather than here at DEF." Each chapter has a limited number of invitations they can issue per Panhellenic rules so even if they love all 1600+ PNMs they may only have 1000 invitations they can offer. I was cut heavily after round one but still he four chapters including two that get a lot of love on here from PNMs. I hung in there, and though I was heartbroken at first, I tried to open my heart up to the places I had left, and wound up in a chapter I grew to love. (Also: you may not even be "in love" with your chapter ON bid day - and that's OK! - but the sisters wanted you there because they saw something in you that they think makes you a good fit!) Good luck and give every house a shot!
