there is nothing really to explain...it truly depends on the house, if they think you are a good fit, etc. does being a legacy carry some weight? absolutely. HOWEVER, that in NO WAY means you are getting a bid...every house has a different way of dealing with legacies according to nationals. i would say my houses like "policy" but thats giving away a little too much information ;) and in regards to the in house leg comment..in my own house and in my friends houses(from stories i have heard personally for them), regardless of your tier, when an in-house legacy is dropped it can be a very emotional time for the active sisters, people who know her, etc. THAT BEING SAID, please keep in mind that sometimes when you are dropped IT IS NOT BECAUSE HOUSES HATE YOU. there are over 1500 girls going through recruitment. most of the time it is helping you because you are getting more of a chance to be in OTHER houses you belong in more. i know that sounds weird, like 'how do they know what house i belong in they don't even know me,' however this is the truth. i never thought i would end up in the house i did and even though it was hard af, i wouldn't change it for anything!
