If I could give my freshman self some advice, it would be to not come on this site before rush, unless it was to ask legitimate questions unrelated to tiers. I admit, I got very caught up in ranks. Of course I have matured in the past year but as an incoming freshman, I wanted to be with the 'cool kids'. I went through rush, loved a lower mid tier house, did not listen to my guy, preffed at a top house, and accepted the bid. I cannot say I am happy or miserable, I am content. While I have made some good friends, I am better friends with the girls from the other house, and so wish I did not get caught up. Plus, I like the frats they socialize with better as well. PNMS, please PLEASE don't pay any attention to tiers. I should have listened to my mothers words of wisdom, she said 'what good is a top tier if it doesn't bring out your best self'. I should have gone to the house that brought out my best self, and I hope even one girl reads this and heeds this advice.
