when the chapter calls the snap bid to give them the bid on bid day, they explain that it is a snap bid and promise that they will never tell anyone that you were a snap bid. no one would have to find out necessarily, because the snap bid shows up on bid day like any other bid does. BUT, a lot of the times (like with KD this year) exec can't keep their mouths shut, and people find out who the snap bids are anyways.... and then they get made fun of
