The given numbers are not indicative of retention rates (but math majors and actual greek members already knew that). A list of retention rates would list each home's number bid at the beginning of a pledge term VS number initiated by each home at end of same pledge term. For example: During one semester Eta Chapter may pledge sixty women and initiate fifty, and Tau Chapter may pledge fifty women and initiate all fifty. Tau chapter therefore had a 100% retention rate while Eta only had 83%. But more importantly, both have fifty members. Repeating: the numbers of the OP only show the TOTAL MEMBERSHIP NUMBERS, NOT THE RETENTION RATE.
