I’ll give SAE credit for being a great fraternity at FSU. But realistically they have to beat Pike in order to be top. There’s a lot to recommend SAE, but unlike Pike, Sig Ep, KA, KSig, Fiji, and soon Sigma Chi, they don’t own their house. They have never owned a house at FSU. As renters, they’re vulnerable to the whims of landlords. There are probably 10 really good fraternities at FSU of which SAE is definitely one. But they don’t have the real estate or the alumni strength to be the ‘top’ fraternity.
