I think you all are slicing and dicing her question way too much. Service is absolutely a part of sorority life which helps empower women to be leaders , create deeper bonds and do good. I get what she is asking. Most houses do have service/philanthropy listed along with other attributes in their mission statements. It is a measurable non biased number you can look at to evaluate an organization. Of course there is more, but she’s not wrong to consider this at all.
