If you are non-Greek, or a member of a weak fraternity, you might think that membership in a traditionally strong chapter with powerful alumni makes no difference in terms of internships, mentoring and interview preference. But it is no coincidence that at this point in time, the 3 fraternities with the largest and most powerful alumni bases, and the most generous in terms of mentoring and internships are also the 3 most powerful fraternities on this campus today. In the recent past, even more fraternity members had the advantage of powerful and generous alumni: Sigma Chi, Lambda Chi, Delta Tau Delta and Phi Delta Theta.
