I agree with this and wish those running rush were more open about it. It is humbling to be told that you're being evaluated on your merits while in fact the decisions were made long before your "materials" made it to the attention of the deciders. It feels devastating to the young ladies involved. Try to have fun, stay cool (don't get heatstroke I mean but OK also as emotionally cool as possible) and make friends with the motivated young ladies you're hanging with this week!
