If it was a decent fraternity and you didn't end up getting dropped for something you did, i would tell them because it could be seen as a good thing. I am in a top tier fraternity and if a guy at rush told me he was a pledge for another decent fraternity I would see it as a plus because other fraternities had interest in you. Either way you might wanna consider mentioning it because a lot of fraternities have members who are friends with other fraternities and word spreads.
