congrats if you got a bid, but lowkey jmu greek life could be pretty toxic. The drinking is average but the superficial stereotypes are definitely true. It’s awful how girls during recruitment will completely ignore you if you don't fit a certain aesthetic. My own sorority is exactly like this, I've been here two years and certain older members act like I don't exist (guess I’m not blonde or pretty enough). Good luck to the pledges, but if you didn't get a bid, count it as a blessing.
