formal recruitment is in the fall which does make it hard for a lot of girls looking to go through recruitment because they're not sure yet if they can handle their freshman year classes and rush. adjusting to jmu is harder for some than others and so a lot of people tend to rush as sophomores and there's no issue with that. keep in mind that rushing can really impact your gpa.
