<strong>Subject:</strong><br />Religion in Sororities<br /><br /> Poster Message:
To all the girls going through GDD tomorrow scared to talk about Jesus because it is one of the "5 B's," please please please talk about your relationship with God within the houses! If girls do not take to it well then you know that is not your home. From my experience, sororities with the most Christian presence tend to be: Chi Omega, Kappa Delta (Essentially all of the girls are religious, but these sororities also do not allow partying or posting about it. They do a very good job highlighting the religious aspect of their houses and do recruit based on religion. They do ALL the things!!!) Zeta, ADPi (Surprising, but honestly a good amount of girls are religious. Put them above Kappa and Theta just for visibility, not that they are "more" religious. Obviously theres the partiers, but Zeta had a decent amount of girls go on the Greek Wide mission trip & Kaleo (STUMO), and Adpi girls weren't on the mission trip but also go to Kaleo and have a healthy religious presence in their sorority. Both regularly have bible studies and go to OSUWorthy, Passion, STUMO, Greek Wide, & SMC together!) Kappa & Theta (The "Klassy" Kappas & "Golden" Thetas are of course always there, but in recent years has been overshadowed by the "Krazies" & the "Non-Golden Girls" (Not saying black because that sounds bad but that is typically their nickname as Theta's colors are Black & Gold) They are still one of the more religious sororities but as time moves on they struggle more and more with recruiting these girls and often lose them to Chi Omega or Kappa Delta!) In each of the chapters at Oklahoma State, you will find a religious presence; these just stood out to me!
