Repeating from another thread Here is another piece of the puzzle no one has mentioned, I’m going to go ahead and wager that none of us work as hard on recruitment as DG works on their’s. Look I’m not saying we haven’t given up plenty of our time for rehearsals and being there late at night to set up and breakdown the rooms and be trapped in Germ infested bubbles talking with hundreds of strangers, but I’ll be honest One of the reasons I know that I hate recruitment practice is 80% of the time it doesn’t matter for my chapter except to maybe rehearse a couple of bump groups and fast facts so we don’t look like complete morons. We could literally show up to our room, not decorate, not make a video, and talk about the bachelor, And we would still probably make quota with girls who want to join our chapter. Just based on the name alone! How stupid is that? Obviously we wouldn’t be getting the pledge class that we wanted but there would still be 60 girls who would want to join us just because i don’t even know why (don’t get me wrong, my chapter is pretty rad). Meanwhile DG is killing themselves to fill a pledge class and still when they extend bids girls wouldn’t even show up to their bid day to give it a chance.
